Wage Range
$23 - $25 per hour
Core Function
Provide direct support to individuals in activities of daily living.
Major Tasks Required Of Position
- Training Delivery: Facilitate inclusive, interactive sessions, in-person and hands-on, for employees across departments.
- Onboarding Support: Support Human Resource with on-board training and paperwork as assigned.
- Methodology Adaptation: Adjust teaching styles and materials to meet diverse learner needs and varying levels of experience.
- Curriculum Development: Assist in developing and updating training content, job aids, and assessment tools.
- Certification Management: Complete company-paid training to become certified as a Residential Services Trainer, Peer Coach, and First Aid/CPR Trainer; maintain all required credentials.
- Peer Coaching: Provide one-on-one coaching and on-the-job mentoring to reinforce learning and support performance improvement.
- Compliance Oversight: Monitor and report on training completion rates, compliance with DDA requirements, and continuing education progress.
- Program Evaluation: Collect feedback, assess training effectiveness, and recommend enhancements to increase learner engagement and retention.
- Collaboration: Partner with department leads, subject-matter experts, and external vendors to coordinate specialized or advanced training modules.
- Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate training records in Therap and HR systems; generate reports for leadership review.
- Quality Assurance Collaboration: Partner with the Quality Assurance department to develop and deliver targeted trainings and assist with related duties as assigned.
Time/Hourly Commitment
This is a full-time position, scheduled Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Occasional flexibility may be required to accommodate early trainings, staff availability, or agency events. The position may involve occasional travel between supported sites for on-the-job training or coaching.
Accurate mileage documentation must be maintained for reimbursement of authorized travel. VanCare, Inc. reserves the right to adjust or reassign duties based on agency or Individuals needs without prior notice.

These duties are not all inclusive and may be adjusted, added to, or reassigned at any time. Household/yard maintenance may include, but is not limited to: cleaning/scrubbing showers/tubs, sweeping/mopping/vacuuming floors, dusting, wiping countertops/cabinets, cleaning windows, etc.
All staff are required to remain awake during ALL shifts.
