Job description

Position Overview

The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is seeking highly qualified applicants for the full-time position of Training Coordinator within the Office of Georgia Quick Start. This role is based at the TCSG Georgia Quick Start Office in Cartersville, Georgia.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct industry job and training analysis.
  • Develop training plans and design performance-based training for Quick Start project companies.
  • Coordinate with project teams, instructional designers, and instructors to develop and deliver training.
  • Create and implement processes to ensure the quality and effectiveness of instructional materials and instruction.
  • Monitor project activities, maintain training records, and research new resources and technologies for industry skills assessment and training.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Development, Instructional Design, Business, Engineering, Adult Education, or a related field, and two years of business experience in a training environment or six years of business experience in a manufacturing training environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and four years of business experience in a manufacturing training environment or eight years of such experience.
