Position Title: TRAINING COORDINATOR - LAX
Pay: $70,000 - $75,000 / year
Reports To: Training Manager
Job Summary

As a Training Coordinator, you will oversee, enhance, and track training programs for associates at all levels. Your responsibilities include implementing, evaluating, and developing training initiatives that align with company goals and improve service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Implement comprehensive training programs for new and existing staff, focusing on customer service, operations, technology, and compliance.
  2. Review and update training collateral regularly.
  3. Assess training needs and skill gaps through feedback and performance metrics.
  4. Lead engaging training sessions and workshops, accommodating diverse learning styles.
  5. Provide ongoing mentorship to employees, fostering continuous learning.
  6. Evaluate training effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
  7. Collaborate with department heads to align training with operational goals and guest expectations.
  8. Manage scheduling and monitor participant progress for training initiatives.
  9. Maintain accurate records of training activities and outcomes.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends to enhance training content and methods.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in hospitality training or similar roles
  • Airport lounge experience is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of operations and service standards
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Organizational and time management skills, adaptable to change
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and training software
  • Training or instructional design certification is a plus
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
