Job description

This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team of inspired individuals' intent on delivering excellence to further TRC's vision and impact. TRC is seeking a full-time Training Coordinator profession in the Lowell, MA office location. The Training Coordinator is responsible for analyzing training needs, developing curriculum, and delivering courses. The Training Coordinator evaluates the trainee for the effectiveness of training and individual employee growth. The Training Coordinator is responsible for developing reports to measure training needs and results.

Responsibilities:
  1. Consult with HR Business Partners, managers, and supervisors to assess training needs and appropriate delivery methods to ensure programs are engaging, impactful, and cost-effective.
  2. Develop, implement, and deliver training programs for varying levels of individuals utilizing digital learning tools and platforms (e.g., Skillsoft).
  3. Create assessment tools to measure learning, knowledge retention, and performance.
  4. Document procedures for the company.
  5. Develop and maintain continual education support materials for post-training reference.
  6. Evaluate training progress and procedures to monitor and update curriculum as needed.
  7. Manage and maintain compliance and safety training curriculum.
  8. Collaborate with operations, HR, external consultants, and suppliers to enhance training and development platforms.
  9. Deliver training in digital and in-person settings.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology, or related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in training content development and delivery, especially in distributed environments.
  3. Ability to work independently and in teams, providing excellent customer service.
  4. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction at all organizational levels.
  5. Results-oriented with strong time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
  6. Attention to detail, with problem-solving and resolution skills.
  7. Experience with digital learning platforms such as Skillsoft, CultureAmp.
  8. Proficiency with Adobe Captivate, Lector, Camtasia.
  9. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
