Training Coordinator
1st shift: Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm or 7am-4pm
Pay: $20-$24/hour
Job Information
The primary objective of the Training Coordinator position is to facilitate the fulfillment of all regulatory requirements pertaining to employee training, including record keeping, to ensure employees are fully trained in all aspects of their roles.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Training Coordination:
- Design, organize, and coordinate companywide training activities.
- Monitor, evaluate, and record training activities in QCBD.
- Create quizzes to verify training effectiveness.
- Maintain and update the QCBD Training Management module.
- Plan and organize onboarding training for new employees.
- Schedule trainings based on availability of space, equipment, or instructors.
- Present information using various instructional techniques, such as group discussions, videos, or lectures.
- Evaluate information to ensure compliance with standards.
- Guide, direct, and motivate subordinates.
- Coordinate with supervisors/leads to utilize training matrices for each position.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and external trainers to deliver effective training sessions.
- Identify training needs in partnership with department heads and HR, especially during role changes.
- Review files, records, and documents to respond to requests.
- Ensure each employee has an accurate job description and R&A statement on file.
- Securely file employee training records.
- Coordinate the Safety Committee program.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- International Shipping Backup:
- Prepare necessary international shipping documents, reports, certificates, ACE/AES filings, customs invoicing, and coordinate package pick-up.
- Communicate with customers and couriers regarding shipping information via email or phone.
- Assist with other related duties as needed.
- Internal Auditor:
- Participate as a member of the audit team.
- Contribute to internal audits and complete related reports.
Qualifications

- Experience in employee training using various methods
- Knowledge of curriculum and training design principles
