Job summary

United States Army is seeking a Training Coordinator in Niland, CA to support range enterprise training, equipment accountability, maintenance, scheduling, logistics, and inventory management. The role emphasizes coordination with Marine Corps and DoD range systems.

Responsibilities include scheduling, facility utilization, and liaison duties, with a focus on environmental compliance and safety practices in a military setting.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in military training and range operations, including facility design, compliance, and environmental policies.
  • 3 years of experience with USMC range operations procedures, including RFMSS and DoD scheduling systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Represent and liaison between the customer ranges and Marine Corps Range Control and Safety Offices.
  • Develop and maintain procedures for scheduling and utilization of Marine Corps Air Station Yuma installation facilities and training areas.
  • Coordinate scheduling between MCAS Yuma and Camp Billy Machen (CBM) Niland, CA.
  • Provide updates on the customer’s range operations and the status of the customer’s units utilizing range facilities.

Job Title: Training Coordinator


Job Location: Niland, CA


Salary: $55K - $60K


Clearance: Secret


Travel: Up to 10%


Purpose: The purpose of this task is to provide the customer support for range enterprise training. This requirement includes support in the areas of equipment accountability and maintenance, training, scheduling, logistics, facility maintenance, and other inventory management roles.


Responsibilities (include but not limited to):


  • Representandliaisonbetweenthe customerRangesandMarine Corps Range Control and Safety Offices.

  • Developandmaintainproceduresforschedulingand utilization of Marine Corps Air Station Yuma installation facilities and training areas.

  • Provideupdatesonthe customers rangeoperationsandthestatusof the customers unitsutilizingrangefacilities.


Job Specific Knowledge and Experience-


  • Shallhave5yearsofexperiencewithinthelast10yearsinmilitarytrainingandrangeoperationstoinclude;rangefacilitydesign,compliance,andenvironmentalpolicies.

  • Shallhave3yearsofexperienceworkingwithU.S.MarineCorps(USMC)rangeoperationsprocedures.ToincludefamiliaritywithUSMCRangeOperationsaswellastheRangeFacilityManagementSupportSystem(RFMSS)rangeschedulingtooland/ortheappropriateDoDrangescheduling systemprogramofrecord.

  • Desired-ABachelor’sdegree.
