Job summary

Maryhurst is seeking a Training Coordinator to plan, develop, and conduct agency training, including New Employee Orientation, and other programs that promote staff development.

You will collaborate with agency leaders to maintain best-practice orientation for new staff and manage the training database, ensuring timely follow-up on quarterly training expectations. The role also involves planning internal/external trainings in Trauma Informed Care and related areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
• Be at least 24 years of age and able to perform on Safe Crisis Management (physical techniques).
• Demonstrate exceptional time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

The Training Coordinator is responsible for planning, developing, and conducting agency training, including New Employee Orientation, agency in-service and other training that promote staff development.

What you'll be doing

• Plans and conducts new employee orientation
• Collaborates with agency leaders to maintain a new employee orientation program that provides best practices for the training of new staff
• Maintains Employee training database and compiles information related to staff that have not met quarterly training expectations in a timely manner
• Collaborates with agency leaders to plan and develop internal and/or external training in areas such as Trauma Informed Care or Trauma Resilient Communities

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
• Be at least 24 years of age.
• Demonstrate exceptional time management.
• Can demonstrate flexibility and ability to manage multiple and changing tasks.
• Be able to perform on train Safe Crisis Management (physical techniques)
• Safe Crisis Management includes: reaching above shoulder level, bending at the waist, lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling 50 max pounds, repetitive kneeling movements to and from the floor, sustained kneeling position for up to 10 minutes, supporting another participant/client's body weight
• Driving

Starting Salary: $45,000
