Job summary

Legends Global is seeking dependable, energetic Cooks to support a high-performance dining operation during live stadium events at the Buffalo Bills Performance Center. You will produce all assigned menu items efficiently, following Legends’ specifications, recipes and techniques, while maintaining sanitation standards.

The role requires following supervisor directions for opening/closing procedures, adhering to portion sizes, quality standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• ServSafe Allergens and Food Handler certification preferred or ability to obtain before events.
• Strong time management, organizational and prioritizing skills.
• Able to lift and transport items up to 30 lbs, occasionally 50 lbs.
• Flexible to extended hours including late nights, weekends and holidays.
• Follow safety policies and complete safety training.

• Follows Executive Chef, Sous Chefs and/or Culinary Supervisors/Leads assignments for opening and closing procedures and food preparation.
• Prepares food items by complying with portion size, quality standards and procedures.
• Maintains HACCP standards ensuring high quality, temperatures, rotation, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen including walk-in coolers, dry storage, shelves, walls, floors and drains.
• Ensures all food prep equipment is clean, sanitized, and safe; report issues to lead or supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Role

We are seeking dependable, energetic, and detail-oriented Cooks to support our athlete driven high-performance dining operation within the Buffalo Bills Performance Center. As a Cook, you are responsible for producing all assigned menu items in an efficient and consistent manner while following Legends’ specifications, recipes and technique and maintaining sanitation standards. ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follows Executive Chef, Sous Chefs and/or Culinary Supervisors/Leads assignments for opening and closing procedures and food preparation.
• Prepares food items by complying with portion size, quality standards, departmental rules, policies and procedures.
• Maintains HACCP standards ensuring a high-quality level of food, food temperatures, rotation of product, cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen including walk-in coolers, dry storage, shelves, walls, floors and drains.
• Ensures all food preparation equipment is clean, sanitized, and kept in a safe and operable condition; report issues to lead or supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.

• ServSafe Allergens and Food Handler, preferred or ability to attain the required food safety certifications prior to working events.
• Elevated time management, organizational, and prioritizing skills.
• Ability to lift and transport food and other items weighing up to 30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
• Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays including all games and major stadium and catering events.
• Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and additional job specific safety training.

COMPENSATION

• Competitive salary of $17-$19/hr. commensurate with experience.
