Job summary

Hunter Douglas is seeking a Training Specialist to design and deliver high-impact customer training across video, eLearning, VILT, and in-person formats. The role focuses on converting SME content into engaging, retention-focused experiences and requires expert video production and web-based training design.

You will travel 25–35% and collaborate with field teams, dealers, and installers to measure and improve training effectiveness. A Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in training are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Business, Education, Training, or related fields.
• 2–4 years in window fashions industry, installation, training, photography, or video production preferred.
• 2+ years in-person training delivery and facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs analyses and design training solutions aligned with Field Service and installer-focused objectives.
• Develop high-quality training content, including videos, eLearning modules, job aids, and quick-reference guides.
• Facilitate training in ILT, VILT, video-based learning, and eLearning formats.
• Identify and track metrics to evaluate learning effectiveness and improve content.
• Stay current on training trends and incorporate new methods into strategies.
• Represent Hunter Douglas professionally with internal teams, dealers, and installers.
• Manage multiple projects with shifting priorities and deadlines.
• Travel 25–35% as required to support training initiatives.
