The Training & Educational Institute (TEI) Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all educational programs provided through the EMS Training & Educational Institute. Working under the direction of the EMS Director and Medical Director, and applicable state and national standards, the TEI Coordinator provides leadership and oversight of all EMS Instructors and Adjunct Instructors while ensuring quality instruction, regulatory compliance, and successful delivery of EMS education and certification programs. Responsibilities include course administration, instructor oversight, student success, accreditation requirements, continuing education, community outreach, and management of learning platforms. The TEI Coordinator may also respond to emergency 911 calls and perform other EMS duties as operational needs require.
