Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in property management, facilities, maintenance operations, hospitality, or another service‑focused industry with direct experience supporting field‑based teams. Experience within Mark‑Taylor communities and a strong understanding of luxury service standards is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience training, mentoring, coaching, or developing service, maintenance, or operations team members. Experience designing and delivering technical, operational, safety, customer service, or process‑based training programs, including curriculum development and facilitation, is preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience leading service, facilities, maintenance, or operations teams is preferred. Demonstrated success developing team performance, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and exceptional customer service is a plus.
- Excellent communicator, with outstanding verbal and written communication skills is a must.
- Professional presence and ability to communicate professionally at all levels is a must.
- Ability to quickly adapt to change, paired with a genuine personal fulfillment from supporting people is a must.
- Strong executor and team player with the ability to help and contribute to team’s efforts, while also being able to work well independently and with autonomy, managing time efficiently.
- Ability to multi‑task and work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills paired with high attention to detail is a must.
- Goal‑oriented, studious contributor who takes extreme ownership and accountability for self and team.
- Ability to accept and implement feedback quickly while leading by example as a lifelong learner.
- Passionate about learning, training and development and possess an incredible customer service and growth mindset.
- Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
- Bilingual (English, Spanish) abilities will be a plus.
- Any bachelor’s degree and/or professional certifications will be a plus.
In This Role You Will
- Serve as an instructor/facilitator to deliver engaging in‑person classes, courses, programs and/or train‑the‑trainer, ensuring learning is impactful, personalized, and aligned with key employee milestones such as onboarding, career development, leadership, and promotion.
- Design and develop training courses (in‑person and online) and materials, including facilitator guides, participant guides, PowerPoint presentations, quick reference guides, and job aids.
- Partner closely with T&D/HR team, business leaders and relevant stakeholders to assess needs, develop learning solutions, and deliver training to improve the performance of individuals, teams, and leaders across the organization, achieving our MT 5‑Star experiences.
- Maintain records on the learning management system to ensure efficient delivery of training, error‑free reporting, and a 5‑star learner experience for all MT employees.
- Utilize the department’s email inbox effectively to provide excellent service to employees, stakeholders and vendors.
- Plan and coordinate end‑to‑end necessary activities such as scheduling, room booking, food ordering to ensure excellent delivery of in‑person training.
- Create and run engagement campaigns that support T&D initiatives, creating momentum and connectivity across the organization with opportunities for higher learning impact and social learning.
- Develop learner assessment instruments, maintain documentation and curricula, ensuring employees have acquired the necessary abilities post‑training.
- Measure the effectiveness of training solutions, identify gaps and opportunities in ongoing curricula and address them with creativity and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional departments, internal and external stakeholders for ongoing training and development and overall employee engagement and retention efforts.
- Support the building of structures, policies, and workflows to ensure that all training and development initiatives are impactful and best‑in‑class.
- Participate in various training and development, human resources initiatives and projects as requested.
- Effectively communicate and drive brand values and philosophy through all human resources, training and development activities.
