Overview

Public Consulting Group LLC (PCG) is a leading public sector solutions implementation and operations improvement firm that partners with health, education, and human services agencies to improve lives.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Participates in the design and delivery of training programs, including presentation materials.
  • Conducts training needs assessments and provides recommendations.
  • Teaches others through classroom facilitation and feedback.
  • Assists in the development of monthly training programs, scheduling, training calendar release, and administration.
  • Designs, develops and implements training curriculum, seminars, and educational resources for participants and staff.
  • Coordinates with local agencies to provide additional training courses for Welfare‑To‑Work participants.
  • Maintains current knowledge of county resources and agencies, including community events, seminars and workshops.
  • Maintains up‑to‑date program guides and regulations.
  • Works in partnership with existing trainers in training development and delivery.
  • Monitors, evaluates, and records staff/participant progress.
  • Provides support, coaching and development for participants.
  • Ensures PCG objectives and monthly goals are met and support contractual goals.
Required Skills
  • Knowledge of commonly used training concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to compose reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Knowledge of MS Windows, Excel and Word preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access, PPT and Internet skills.
  • Ability to learn specialized databases and software systems.
  • Ability to recognize and maintain confidentiality of all materials in the work setting.
  • Ability to work across all levels of management and staff.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with federal, state and county agencies as well as the general public.
  • Ability to partner with and motivate participants, including those with both physical and/or mental disabilities.
  • Display a professional level of empathy for participants and respect for cultural differences.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in coaching and development preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in training/workforce development.
  • Experience teaching adults or in a classroom setting, including workshops and seminars.
  • Knowledge of the needs and characteristics of adult learners.
  • Competent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Computer literacy with MS Word, Excel, Access, PPT and Internet skills.
Working Conditions

Required in Office; Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $70,304 - $75,900.

Benefits include medical and dental care, 401(k) matching, paid time off, parental leave, and bereavement leave.

Eligibility and Sponsorship
