Trainer - The New York Simulation Center

Join us as a Trainer - The New York Simulation Center at NYU Langone Health.

Position Overview

We are seeking an instructor responsible for teaching National Certification Courses (BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Heartsaver/AED) at The New York Simulation Center for the Health Sciences.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary instructor for AHA National Certification Courses (BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Heartsaver/AED).
• Maintain regulatory course standards and ensure compliance.
• Stay current with professional and technical knowledge, maintaining instructor certification status.
• Complete administrative tasks related to training sessions accurately.
• Participate in relevant trainings, meetings, and workgroups.
• Adhere to policies and procedures; resolve non-routine situations and escalate issues as necessary.
• Set up, break down, and manage training space and equipment.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are maintained, and the learning environment is safe and optimal.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with BLS Instructor or ACLS Instructor certifications. Pending cards are acceptable.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in teaching BLS, ACLS, and PALS is preferred.

Additional Information

Compensation

The hourly salary range is $37.23 - $40.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
