Overview

Job Description: Great opportunity to work with a large national Fortune 50 Healthcare company. Fully remote with equipment supplied for a 12 month contract with option to hire. Position is 100% focused on facilitating classes. Curriculum design experience is not required. Associate Degree required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications. Has working knowledge of Captivate, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, screen capture, and audio/video technology.

Responsibilities

This role is responsible for delivering engaging instructor-led training sessions and facilitating discussions with participants. The focus is on classroom facilitation rather than curriculum development.

The Trainer is responsible for low level education material maintenance and delivery of content-specific curriculums. This individual works closely with Learning and Development teams to ensure course content and delivery meets the needs of targeted audiences. Skilled in facilitation and interpersonal communication, the Trainer consistently demonstrates solid organizational skills, time management, and professionalism.

Applies adult learning concepts when delivering educational programs

  • Teaches classes and assists other instructors in classroom and work settings
  • Utilizes available standardized courses and instructor evaluation processes
  • Assists in performing an annual education needs assessment as input to the strategic education program
  • Utilizes a training database to track competencies and skills for SSC staff
  • Provides training reports to SSC managers and directors
