Newport News Shipbuilding is seeking a candidate to participate in on-the-job training, skills training, and some classroom instruction within assembly and production areas. The role focuses on developing new training programs, processes, and sequences for manufacturing teams, while maintaining training rosters and certification records.

Applicants should have a High School/GED and 5 years of additional education and/or experience.

The Role

Performs on-the-job training, skills training, and some classroom training in assembly and production areas. Participates in the development and implementation of new training programs and may introduce new processes and sequences for manufacturing areas. Maintains rosters of training progress, examination records, and certification records and may monitor trainees.
