Overview

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Trainer, Prior Authorization to join our team! This role involves developing and facilitating training, collaborating across the organization, and ensuring high engagement through onboarding and refresher sessions. The trainer will identify training needs, create interactive content, evaluate effectiveness, and enhance the training program.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and facilitate onboarding and refresher training through various channels to develop high-performing staff
  • Utilize resources efficiently including PA Launch House, NaviClaim, FBMS, Compass, PA Intel, and phone technology
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure training relevance and quality service
  • Evaluate trainees and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement
  • Maintain quality metrics and support trainee success post-training
  • Support training in other areas such as Medicare D, Clinical Prior Authorization, and Grievance and Appeals
  • Apply adult learning principles and training technologies
  • Travel up to 20% may be required for training at other campuses
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • College degree preferred
  • Deep knowledge of Prior Authorization functions, with 2+ years in Navitus Prior Authorization or similar roles
  • Minimum 1-year experience in instructional design, course development, adult learning, or related fields; experience with E-learning is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Support compliance objectives
  • Cooperative and respectful interaction with colleagues
