A leading health institution in Spartanburg seeks a Certified Athletic Trainer to provide comprehensive care for athletes. The role involves prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries, including community outreach and education. Candidates should possess a BS in Athletic Training and relevant certifications, with a commitment to patient well-being and team collaboration.
Position Summary
The Certified Athletic Trainer renders service or treatment under the direction of a physician including prevention, immediate care, clinical evaluation and diagnosis, rehabilitation and reconditioning, program discontinuation, administration and organization relating to athletic injury or illness.He/she coordinates Athletic Training coverage for community-based events. He/she is responsible for coverage and care of athletes as assigned by the Sports Medicine Institute Manager. He/she participates in community presentations, staff education, and other departmental activities as requested by the supervisor, manager or director.
Minimum Requirements
Education
·BS in Athletic Training or related field
Experience:
Licenses/Registrations/ Certifications
·BOC Certification
·CPR-AHA BLS
·SC DHEC Athletic Training License or eligible – Must obtain within 60 days of employment

·Completes other duties as assigned.
