To provide quality pre-service and in-service education to staff, other state employees, and the public at large, as a means of increasing competence and supporting staff in meeting the organization's mission of assisting people in their recovery.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to provide instruction in a classroom setting.
Additional Considerations
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • Experience teaching adults.
  • Experience with online courses.
  • Experience working with computer software related to instruction and education.
  • Experience in a behavioral health related profession and/or working knowledge of behavioral health issues.
  • CPR Instructor Certification through the American Heart Association.
