Job summary

Western Alliance Bank is seeking a Trainer for the Westlake Village, CA area. You will identify training needs, translate requirements into effective trainings, and oversee instructional materials to support employee growth.

You will deliver structured learning experiences, assess training effectiveness, and ensure taught skills are applied on the job. You will stay updated on trends in employee development to keep programs current.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in Training or similar field.
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending, including sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.

What You’ll Need

• 3+ years of related experience in Training or similar field.
• High school diploma required.
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending, including sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
• Intermediate mortgage industry experience.
• Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.

Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $76,405.00 - $94,381.00 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
