Job summary

Deutsche Post is seeking a Training Specialist to educate associates on material handling equipment (MHE) and provide classroom instruction. The role includes evaluating ramp-up performance, creating improvement steps, and certifying operators across forklift types.

Responsibilities include developing reference guides, supporting operations, and ensuring safety processes. The position emphasizes proactive training, system access setup, and participation in safety and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Related technical experience required or preferred.
• MHE experience with sit-down forklift and pallet jack is required.
• MHE experience with stand-up forklift, reach truck, clamp, and slip is preferred.

• Update on company goals and procedures.
• Identify training needs.
• Conduct BBS observations.
• Participate in Safety Committee.

• Support operations as needed by leadership
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
• Certify Associates for MHE
• Actively participate in the YOBE process
• Create system login for all Associates (SeeIT, JDA, etc.)
• Updating on company goals and procedures.
• Identify training needs
• Conduct BBS observations
• Participate in Safety Committee

Required Education and Experience:

• Related technical experience
• MHE experience(sit down forklift and pallet jack)
• MHE experience(stand up forklift, reach truck, clamp, and slip), preferred
• Scrubber, preferred
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
