Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the United States is seeking a Trainer for the Weekend Days Shift to lead safety and operations training on the site. This role focuses on hands-on MHE instruction, new hire onboarding, and cross-training across departments.

You will deliver classroom and on-the-floor training, certify associates for MHE, participate in safety programs, and help ensure adherence to site policies during pre-shift briefings and shifts Friday through Sunday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Related technical experience.
• MHE experience (sit down forklift and pallet jack).
• MHE experience (stand up forklift, reach truck, clamp, and slip), preferred.
• Scrubber, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Present training to associates and effectively communicate with all Associates.
• Evaluate Associate's RPM on ramp up form and create steps for success.
• Assist with creating work reference guide.
• Effective initial training and cross training of associates and outside workers.
• Support operations as needed by leadership.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Certify Associates for MHE.
• Actively participate in the YOBE process.
• Create system login for all Associates (SeeIT, JDA, etc.).
• Updating on company goals and procedures.
• Identify training needs.
• Conduct BBS observations.
• Participate in Safety Committee.

Position: Trainer

Shift: Weekend Days Shift

Schedule: Friday-Sunday 5:00am-5:00pm

Pay: $20.75

Core Duties

• Conduct New Hire Training
• Train on all MHE here at the site
• Help assists with spill cleanup
• Cross Train in multiple departments
• Understand and teach work instruction and SOP's
• Bilingual to assist training of our 4PL
• Complete Near Miss, Hazards, BBS
• Know about Evacuation Points, Tornado Shelters, Fire Alarm Procedures
• Advise on policies at the site during new hire training
• Assess if individuals are able to perform jobs safely with MHE certification
• Educate associates on Step Up for Safety
• Speak about safety topics during pre-shift
