Job summary

UtiliQuest, LLC is hiring a Trainee Locator for Special Projects. You will learn safety rules, locate underground utilities, and work with experienced teams to mark lines and document findings using digital maps.

The role requires you to operate locating equipment, understand local regulations, and perform duties in all weather conditions. A driver’s license and legal eligibility to work in the U.S. are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma or GED, or relevant work experience.
• Valid State driver's license with acceptable MVR record.

Responsibilities

• Learn utility locating techniques, safety protocols, and how to operate equipment.
• Develop an understanding of local utility infrastructure and regulations.
• Partner with experienced locators to mark underground utility lines.
• Operate utility locating equipment.
• Document findings using digital mapping tools.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
