MKTG Sports + Entertainment is seeking a Trainee in Charlotte, NC for a six-month, entry-level, full-time immersive program. A full-time, permanent position may follow based on performance and availability.

The role sits with the Sponsorship Consulting team and involves working on client accounts through the entire account management process, from creative planning to program execution. Responsibilities include research, writing, and ideation to understand the sports and entertainment

Responsibilities

• Contribute to program recommendations and recaps.
• Distribute and route sponsorship assets for clients.
• Write point-of-view documents on potential partnerships.
• Brainstorm concepts, platforms, and programs across agency accounts.
• Research competitive activity, industry trends, property opportunities, and more.
• Prepare status reports for client meetings.
• Design and order branded giveaways/merchandise.
• Some travel (including weekends) may be required based on account needs.

Job Description The Sponsorship Consulting team provides sponsorship management and consulting services to clients across multiple industries, typically surrounding sports or entertainment. As a Trainee, you will be assigned to specific client accounts and will be involved with the entire account management process from creative planning to program execution. Through research, writing, and creative ideation, you will gain an in-depth understanding of the sports and entertainment sponsorship industry.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to program recommendations and recaps
• Distribute and rout sponsorship assets for our clients
• Write point-of-view documents on potential partnerships
• Brainstorm concepts, platforms, and programs across all agency accounts

Quick Facts

• Program start date: January 11, 2027
• This role requires 3-4 days each week on location along with other days as needed.
• This role will be in the following location: Charlotte, NC
• This application deadline is October 2, 2026 at 4pm Eastern
• You will be reporting to someone more senior on the team.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.

Additional Information

• The hourly pay range for this position is ($19.23 per hour).
• The hourly pay rate for the successful candidate is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
• Temporary employees are eligible for paid holidays in accordance with dentsu policy, as well as safe and sick time.
• This position is not eligible for any other benefits or other compensation.
