Job summary

The Gill Corporation in El Monte, CA is seeking a Lay Up Operator Trainee to assist in assembling precut materials into panels or liners. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will support layup operations, review instructions, and ensure quality during setup and changeover.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 6 months to 1 year in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. ITAR/EAR compliance may apply and overtime/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work any shift, overtime, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Reads the GPS prior to start of the work order.
• Reviews work order for any Special Instructions.
• Assists in the layup panels and liners per GPS.
• Assist Layup Operator and follow their instructions in Setup, Assembly, Change Over of materials.
• Assist presses for loading and unloading.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Other duties assigned by production supervisor or manager.
