Job summary

Tiffany & Co. in Cumberland, RI, seeks a Craftsperson trainee to learn fine jewelry production using materials and guidance provided by Tiffany & Co. The successful candidate will meet company expectations following prescribed training guidelines and must comply with all Tiffany & Co. policies and procedures.

This full-time and direct-hire opportunity will attend the training class Monday through Friday. There is the opportunity for overtime depending on production demand.

Qualifications

• Appropriate hand dexterity as indicated by bench assessment.
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Hand-eye coordination.
• Must pass a background check.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to sit for long hours.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Tiffany & Co. jeweler training program learning to create and/or repair precious jewelry using precious metals, while learning Tiffany & Co. quality and production standards.
• Work safely at all times by following safe work procedures for jewelers and reporting safety issues to your team leader.
• Collaborate in a team environment maintaining a positive and respectful workplace.
• Comply with Tiffany & Company policies and procedures while maintaining professional conduct.
• Participate in all assigned tasks and any other team requirements.
• Participate in the jeweler training program to learn to create and/or repair precious jewelry using Tiffany & Co. standards.
