The Manufacturing/Engineering Technician will test and implement improvements to processes, equipment, and data systems while supporting cost-reduction initiatives across the facility. Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in jewelry manufacturing, CAD capability, GD&T knowledge, and strong data analysis and communication skills to collaborate with process engineers and multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Technical associate degree or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years’ jewelry manufacturing experience and process improvement.
• Ability to create mechanical drawings in CAD.
• Ability to analyze data and solve complex problems.
• Knowledge of GD&T and measurement with calipers, micrometers and vision systems.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; SolidWorks preferred.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Familiarity with JD Edwards Systems is a plus.
• Green Belt certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test, plan and execute improvements to processes, products and data systems.
• Support process engineering efforts focused on technology and cost reduction.
• Provide craft-focused perspective for continuous improvement opportunities.
• Develop and update flow charts, SOPs and work instructions with emphasis on safe operation.
