The Trainee will gain comprehensive training, perform property inspections, data entry, and market research while building appraisal knowledge in a supervised environment.

Responsibilities

• Data entry for appraisal reports under supervision by Supervising Appraiser.
• Conduct data analysis and market research for appraisal reports.
• Coordinate communication on appraisal orders through multiple platforms.
• Coordinate residential property inspections for Trainee and Supervising Appraiser.
• Research and utilize proprietary and third‑party tech to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct residential property inspections with Supervising Appraiser.
• Undergo training and continued education to maintain licensure.
• Support Supervisor in meeting monthly production requirements.
• Meet client and company SLAs; complete UAD 3.6 training.
• Other duties as assigned.

The purpose for the Appraiser Trainee position is to enable the individual to gain comprehensive training and field experience in a supervised environment. The Trainee will focus on property inspections, data entry for appraisal reports, data analysis, market research, order communication, inspection scheduling and expanding appraisal knowledge.

Main Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Data entry for appraisal reports as directed by Supervising Appraiser
• Conducting data analysis and market research needed for appraisal reports and market knowledge
• Coordinate communication on all appraisal order process milestones through multiple platforms and formats
• Coordinate residential property inspections for Trainee and the Supervising Appraiser
• Researching and utilizing proprietary and third‑party technology resources to ensure proficiency and accuracy of the appraisal process for the Trainee and Supervising Appraiser
• Conduct residential property inspections with Supervising Appraiser
• Undergo training, periodic testing and continued education as deemed necessary to maintain licensure and improve skill set.
• Support assigned Supervisor in meeting / exceeding monthly minimum production requirements as assigned
• Meet all client and company Service Level Agreements
• Complete UAD 3.6 training and utilize it in daily operations
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Familiarity with appraisal software, mobile appraisal applications, third party appraisal resource tools, Microsoft Office 365 suite of products and appraisal management systems

• Enrolled and / or completing coursework needed to become an Appraiser Trainee and Licensed / Certified Licensed Appraiser
