Job summary

Harmony River in western Minnesota is seeking full time and part time Trained Medication Assistants (TMAs) to join our team. This role requires Minnesota TMA certification and CNA certification, and you will work under the supervision of a nurse to provide high-quality care and administer medications.

The position offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive church-based community focused on serving older adults in a faith-based setting.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state approved training program and current certification in medication administration in state(s) in which he/she practices.
• Successful completion of a state approved nursing assistant training program and current certification in state(s) in which he/she practices.

• Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.

Responsibilities

Please note this is NOT A MEDICAL ASSISTANT ROLE. This Trained Medication Assistant role requires Trained Medication Assistant certification completed in Minnesota.

Responsibilities

The Trained Medication Assistant is responsible for the provision of high quality care and services to Care Center residents consistent with regulations and established clinical best practices. The TrainedMedication Assistant administers medications and treatments under the direct supervision of a nurse and performs Resident Assistant responsibilities as assigned.

Pay Range

The estimated starting pay range for this role is $23.61 - $27.09 per hour. This good faith estimate is based upon PHS’s typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends upon many factors including each individual employee’s qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.
