Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Train Engineer to operate the ride safely and deliver memorable guest experiences. You will load riders, check restraints, and use the microphone to present ride spiel.

The role requires a safety‑minded individual with strong guest service skills, available for weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays, and eager to contribute to a diverse team at a world‑class amusement park.

Responsibilities

• Operate the ride in a safe and efficient manner.
• Check and secure ride restraints and ensure ride safety guidelines are followed.
• Assist with loading and unloading of guests onto the ride.
• Provide excellent customer service to park guests, including answering questions and addressing concerns.
• Give directions and delivers ride spiel using a microphone.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the ride and surrounding area.
• Must be able to conduct an oil change.
• Follow all park policies and procedures, including safety and emergencies.

Must be 18 years or older.

As a Train Engineer at Worlds of Fun, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of park guests while they ride the train at the park. This includes:

• Operating the ride in a safe and efficient manner
• Checking and securing ride restraints and ensuring that all ride safety guidelines are followed
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of guests onto the ride
• Providing excellent customer service to park guests, including answering questions and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
• Gives directions and delivers ride spiel usng a microphone.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the ride and its surrounding area
• Must be able to conduct an oil change
• Following all park policies and procedures, including those related to safety and emergency situations
