Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist in all phases of the safe daily operations of trains.
  2. Operate track switches, couple cars, and work on freight trains in yard operations.
  3. Move and align various parts of rail equipment to create or build trains.
  4. Work on-call and be available 24/7 in all weather conditions.
  5. Follow irregular work schedules based on rotation.
  6. Have a telephone for contact purposes.
  7. Handle increasing responsibilities, including locomotive engineering duties.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.
