Job summary

Paycom is seeking a yard tractor operator for the Irving, TX distribution center. You will position trailers at docks, shuttle them to pickup zones for OTR drivers, and operate a yard tractor to move trailers safely around the yard.

Two years of tractor-trailer experience is required, with English literacy and a valid driver’s license (CDL may be required). You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work nights/weekends when needed, and maintain a strong safety and customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Two years or more experience operating tractor trailers, including spotting in congested areas.
• Must read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Position trailers at the distribution center docks.
• Shuttle loaded trailers to designated pickup areas for OTR drivers.
• Safely operate a yard tractor to maneuver trailers in the yard.
• Follow radio instructions to position trailers at the correct doors.
• Inspect yard tractor for damage and report issues.
• Complete work completion and equipment damage reports.
• Keep yard area clean and professional; support customer service.
