Job summary

Dakota Bodies Llc is seeking a Welder to fabricate, assemble, and weld metal components for trailers. You will read blueprints, set up parts, and weld in vertical, horizontal, or overhead positions, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

The role requires 18+ years old, ability to pass a drug screen, and preferred 2–3 years of industrial welding experience. Full benefits are available including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, and 401K with match.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and drawings to plan welding layouts.
• Take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
• Maintain 5S + Safety Standards and a safe working environment.
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic equipment in various positions.
• Test and inspect welds and completed structures for quality.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and drawings to plan welding layouts.
• Set up components for welding according to specifications.
• Weld components in vertical, horizontal, or overhead positions.
• Prepare trailers and components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
• Test welded surfaces for defects and ensure quality standards.
