Job summary

Timpte is seeking a Trailer Technician at our TIMPTE Customer Support Center located in Sioux Falls, SD. This position offers DAY HOURS, NO WEEKENDS, and a starting pay range of $24.00-$30.00 per hour based on experience.

You will diagnose, repair and service trailers of all brands in a safe and professional manner, with quarterly bonus potential up to $5,000 per year. Growth opportunities abound within our family-oriented company.

Qualifications

• Mechanic experience required.
• Able to stand/walk up to 100% of the time.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. (team lift for heavier items)

Responsibilities

• Technicians replace or repair damaged panels, rails, and traps
• Perform trailer alignments and adjustments, repair and replace brakes, cams and wheel seals
• Welding some steel and aluminum

Starting Pay Range: $24.00-30.00 per hour based upon experience!

Quarterly Bonus Potential: Up to $5,000 per year but paid quarterly!

That equals about $2.40 per hour in additional earnings!

Desired Skills, Knowledge, And Qualifications

• Ability to work in a standing position and/or walk up to 100% of the time
• Ability to bend, stoop, crawl around equipment, and crawl in and out of tubs and trailers and to work from ladders
• Ability to carry objects weighting up to 50 lbs. for a distance of 10-50 feet. Objects over 50lbs, use two people
