Job summary

Trinity Employment Specialists is seeking a Trailer Technician to inspect, repair, and maintain semi-trailers to meet safety and DOT standards. The role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background who wants to grow skills in trailer repair within a fast-paced shop.

The position is full-time, temp-to-hire, based in Tulsa, OK. Pay starts at $22.00 per hour and DOE, with a schedule of Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Own tools are a plus and valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with ability to learn trailer repair and maintenance.
• Experience repairing semi-trailers is preferred but not required.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced shop environment.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and work in varying weather conditions.
• Own tools are a plus.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on semi-trailers.
• Complete DOT inspections and identify needed repairs.
• Repair and replace trailer roofs as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair trailer wiring and lighting systems.
• Replace brake shoes, drums, hubcaps, gaskets, and landing gear components.
• Perform mechanical repairs using hand and power tools.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Complete repair documentation and communicate repair needs with supervisors.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
