Timpte, Inc. in Princeton, IL is seeking a Trailer Technician to diagnose, repair and service trailers across brands in a safe, professional manner.

This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with DAY HOURS and NO WEEKENDS, starting pay of $24.00–$30.00 per hour with a quarterly bonus potential up to $5,000 per year. • Ability to stand or walk up to 100% of the time.

• Welding of steel and aluminum.

Timpte is looking for a Trailer Technician at our TIMPTE Customer Support Center located in Princeton, IL!

• Pay for this position starts at $24.00-$30/hr (Depending on experience)!
• Quarterly Bonus Potential: Up to $5,000 per year but paid quarterly!
• That equals about $2.40 per hour in additional earnings!

Job Responsibilities

• Technicians replace or repair damaged panels, rails, and traps
• Perform trailer alignments and adjustments, repair and replace brakes, cams and wheel seals
• Welding some steel and aluminum

Desired Skills, Knowledge, And Qualifications

• Ability to work in a standing position and/or walk up to 100% of the time
• Ability to bend, stoop, crawl around equipment, and crawl in and out of tubs and trailers and to work from ladders
• Ability to carry objects weighting up to 50 lbs. for a distance of 10-50 feet. Objects over 50lbs, use two people
