Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Trailer Technician to support our growing fleet service operations in Sparks, NV.

The role emphasizes trailer maintenance, inspections, and on-site repairs for refrigeration-enabled fleets. The position offers a full-time schedule with flexible shifts (3x12 or 4x10) and shift differentials for 2nd/3rd shifts, plus benefits such as PTO, medical/dental/vision, HSA contributions, life and disability insurance, and a 401(k) plan with

Qualifikationen

High school diploma or equivalent.
1+ year shop experience with DOT annual inspections, brakes, or tech school certification.
Valid driver's license.
Obtain a toolbox and required tools.
Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.

Aufgaben

Perform preventative maintenance on trailers.
Handle DOT/FHWA inspections and meet standard service times.
Repair and replace tires, brakes, and suspension systems.
Diagnose and repair electrical and ABS systems.
Weld and fabricate using steel and aluminum.
Reefer unit experience is a plus.
Take on road service calls and company vehicle repairs.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
