Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services, Sparks, NV, is seeking a full-time technician to perform preventive trailer maintenance and handle DOT inspections. You will repair tires, brakes, and suspension, diagnose electrical/ABS issues, and weld/fabricate as needed.

Reefer unit experience is a plus and road service calls are common. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year shop experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of shop experience with DOT annual inspections, brakes, or related training.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on trailers.
• Handle DOT/FHWA inspections and meet service times.
• Repair and replace tires, brakes, and suspension components.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and ABS systems.
• Weld and fabricate using steel and aluminum.
• Reefer unit experience is a plus.
• Take road service calls and perform company vehicle repairs.
