Amerit Fleet Solutions in Perris, CA is seeking a skilled Trailer Technician/Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on Class 7–8 trailers, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and conduct safety inspections to keep our fleet compliant. A valid driver's license and 2+ years of hands-on trailer experience are required; you’ll work Tues–Sat, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM, in a mobile or shop

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ hands-on experience performing class 7-8 trailer maintenance and repairs.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to own and maintain personal tools and toolbox.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
• Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trailers
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
• Accurately document repairs and complete work orders
