Amerit Fleet Solutions in Hayward, CA is hiring a Trailer Technician/Mechanic to join our fleet maintenance team. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on class 7-8 trailers, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and complete accurate work orders.

The role offers a day shift (Mon-Thu 6:00am–4:30pm), weekly pay, and benefits within 30 days. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of trailer maintenance, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to manage tools and safety gear.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience performing class 7-8 trailer maintenance and repairs.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
• Ability to pass background check, pre-employment drug screen, and DOT physical if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on class 7-8 trailers.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Conduct inspections to ensure safety and compliance standards.
