Job summary

Blaine Brothers is seeking an experienced trailer technician for our Minnesota-based trailer shop. The 2nd shift runs Monday–Friday, 3pm–12am. The role focuses on repair, maintenance, and upgrades of semi-trailers across various sizes and types.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a trailer technician or mechanic
Ability to lift 50-100 lbs occasionally
Welding experience a plus
Strong work ethic and reliability
Good written and verbal communication
Ability to work independently and safely

Responsibilities

Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests.
Repair and maintenance of semi-trailers, brakes, suspension, electrical and pneumatic/hydraulic components, and body repairs.
Inspect trailers to ensure compliance with USDOT safety requirements.
Compile inspection reports detailing findings.
Provide after-sale services and component installation.
Track parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
Ensure final work meets quality standards and maintain a clean, safe work area.
