Job summary

Buddy Moore Trucking Inc. in Tuscaloosa, AL is seeking an experienced trailer technician to join our team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial trailers and perform DOT inspections to ensure safety and compliance.

The role requires a valid driver's license or US work authorization, strong communication, and the ability to provide and maintain personal tools. Prior experience with advanced trailer systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience diagnosing, repairing brakes, tires, lights, and performing DOT inspections on commercial trailers.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Skill Level: Advanced Level
• Primary responsibility is the maintenance and repair of trailers.
• Valid state driver’s license / US work authorization
• Dependable, organized & self-motivated
• (Preferred, not required) A CDL, clear of violations/accidents & provide current DOT medical certificate
• Minimum 1yr experience as a trailer technician diagnosing, repairing (brakes, tires, lights and DOT Inspections), and maintaining commercial trailers.
• Excellent communication skills
• Must provide and maintain personal tools and storage boxes
• Advanced Aluminum welding & fabrication, replacement of structural components, suspension components, electrical troubleshooting and wiring.
