Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Trailer and SRI Repair Specialist in Wisconsin (Wauwatosa) to maintain our latest fleet of trailers and Ford/GMC trucks. You will perform preventive maintenance, brake and tire work, and use our proprietary tech to inspect field vehicles.

The role supports a growing fleet and offers hands-on growth opportunities. We provide training through Ford, GM and U-Haul programs, a collaborative team, and opportunities for advancement in a family-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and repair experience preferred.
• Driver's license required.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Basic computer skills and regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Secure trailers on lifts and dollies.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Rebuild and repair braking systems and trailer components.
• Dismount, balance and mount tires.
• Occasionally road-test vehicles.
• Work on a production line.
• Use pre-inspection and repair checklist.
• Lend assistance in additional areas as needed under supervision.
