Job summary

ABW is seeking a Warehouse Spotter in Austell, GA to manage dropped trailer movements for the ABW warehouse and Copack operations. You will follow all safety, quality, and food defense procedures and support continuous warehouse operations.

The role requires pre-trip tractor inspections, strict adherence to PPE and safety protocols, and effective communication with Customer Service and the Team Lead. CDL may be required at select sites, with potential for additional general warehouse duties as

Qualifications

Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
Requires valid driver's license.
Greenville and Kennesaw sites require CDL license.

Responsibilities

Performs pre-trip inspection on tractors each shift (oil, transmission fluid, hydraulic fluid, leaks, mirrors, water in lines).
Follows safety procedures; wears PPE and high-visibility vest; prohibits riders; tug tests trailers; maintains safe yard speed; ensures 5th wheel alignment and clearance.
Maintains trailer lift to clear obstacles; ensures doors are secure before moving trailers.
Prioritizes inbounds/outbounds based on Team Lead input; communicates trailer shortages to Customer Service; may perform general warehouse tasks reporting to Warehouse Operations Team Lead.
