Job summary

NFI is seeking a Spotter to drive, move and position trailers at loading docks and staging areas. This role emphasizes safe trailer movement, dock access, and coordination with loading teams.

Responsibilities include attaching drive units to trailers, inspecting trucks before and after trips, assisting with loading and unloading, and following all safety procedures and policies. Strong communication and independence are valued.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Computer applications experience using MS Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Able to work independently.
• Must have high school education or equivalent.
• Must be able to follow policies and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Attach drive unit to trailers to move to and from dock doors for loading and unloading.
• Inspects truck for defects, before and after trips and submits reports indicating truck condition.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
• Other duties as assigned.
