RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is seeking a Trailer Mechanic Trainee in the Toledo, OH area. This hands-on role is ideal for someone mechanically inclined who wants to learn a trade in a growing field. Professional experience is not required, but prior wrenching experience is strongly preferred.

This is full-time, year-round outdoor work with benefits. Starting pay is $18–$22 per hour based on experience and skill level.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Assist a Trailer Mechanic with repairs and maintenance on semi-trailers.
• Keep trailers in compliance with DOT safety standards.
• Perform tasks such as brake changes, tires/wheel service, electrical work and fabrication.
