Job summary

Plycrete is seeking a motivated Construction Laborer (Concrete Pump Operator) in Sarasota, FL. This full-time role trains the right candidate with no prior experience and provides hands-on instruction to operate trailer-mounted concrete pumps safely and efficiently on varied job sites.

You’ll maintain equipment, perform inspections, and work with a team to ensure smooth pours, with a strong emphasis on safety.

• Mechanical inclination and understanding of machines.
• Physical fitness with endurance for demanding tasks.
• Flexibility to work different shifts for large pours.
• Willingness to learn and undergo training to become a skilled Trailer Pump Operator.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Operate trailer-mounted concrete pumps to deliver concrete to various job sites.
• Perform daily maintenance and upkeep of equipment to ensure optimal condition.
• Inspect equipment and troubleshoot issues during operations.
• Use mechanical skills to maintain and repair machinery.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth pumping process and project completion.
• Follow safety guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
