Job summary

Lineage Logistics is hiring for a 2nd shift position in Lancaster, TX. The role involves moving trailers, inspecting equipment, and fueling as needed, while following safety standards.

You will log trailer movements, report issues, and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth daily operations. The job requires at least 6 months of trailer or heavy equipment experience, the ability to lift 40 lbs, and a flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• 6 months operating tractor trailers and/or heavy equipment.
• Ability to understand instructions in the country’s official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs; weight may be more dependent upon facility.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers to and from dock doors following supervisor instructions and safety standards.
• Check/set trailer and yard temperature and add fuel if needed.
• Perform daily inspections on spotter truck and equipment.
• Report defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damages to vehicles/equipment.
• Maintain logs of trailer movements and fuel; communicate daily movements to appropriate departments.
• Check trailer inventory and report irregularities; perform sanitation duties on trailers as assigned.
