Zusammenfassung

XPO is seeking skilled Trailer Mechanics in Texas to perform routine maintenance on trailers per manufacturer, DOT and company schedules. You will inspect, service, and repair trailer systems, maintain a safe, organized shop and document work in repair orders for traceability.

Qualified candidates have 1 year of heavy-duty maintenance or entry-level technician experience, a valid drivers license and the ability to work various shifts.

Qualifikationen

• 1 year of verifiable experience in heavy-duty maintenance and/or time in an entry-level Technician role.
• A valid drivers license.
• Able to perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to work days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Brake inspection qualified per FMCSA 369.25.
• Vehicle inspection qualified per FMCSA 369.19.
• Basic hand tools required for heavy-duty trailer maintenance.

Aufgaben

• Perform routine maintenance on trailing equipment per schedules.
• Inspect and repair trailers, including undercarriage areas.
• Repair or rebuild equipment systems as needed.
• Adhere to DOT, EPA, OSHA and company rules.
• Move trailers and operate hostler as required.
• Enter times and parts on repair orders to track activity.
• Use specialized tooling and ensure a clean, safe work area.
• Interact with operations and shop management.
