Job summary

Dillard's is seeking an experienced trailer mechanic for our Salisbury, North Carolina maintenance shop. The role focuses on dry van pup trailers; you will work on a fleet of about 1,350 trailers and 160 dollies, on the day shift, Mon-Fri 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, as a full-time team member with strong benefits.

You should have a minimum of 5 years of trailer repair experience, perform FMCSA inspections, repairs, diagnostics, and welding as needed.

Qualifications

• Bumper-to-bumper preventive maintenance and repairs
• Electrical repair and troubleshooting
• Identify the source of malfunctions using testing equipment
• ABS service including diagnostics
• Must have your own tools
• Self-motivated

• Pass pre-employment drug screen and physical

Full job description Great opportunity for an experienced Trailer Mechanic in Salisbury, NC! FW Carrier is a dedicated carrier servicing Dillard's private fleet since 1980. Our maintenance shop in Salisbury is actively seeking a motivated trailer mechanic with a minimum of 5 years of experience working on dry van pup trailers. Our fleet consists of 1350 trailers and 160 dollies. Day shift, Mon-Fri 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Full time position with great benefits.
