Job summary

Rockstar Recruiting seeks a Trailer Mechanic in Walton, KY, for an in-shop role focused on trailers (dry vans, flatbeds, step decks). About 90% of work involves trailers; truck work is limited to basic bolt-on repairs. You’ll inspect, repair, and prepare trailers, with predictable hours and steady work in a focused shop environment.

The position emphasizes hands-on trailer maintenance, 2+ years of relevant experience, and reliability. CDL helps, but is not required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of trailer or heavy truck mechanic experience.
• Trailer repair experience is preferred.
• Heavy truck experience is welcome.
• No automotive backgrounds.
• CDL is a plus, but not required.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and quality-focused.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM services and inspections on trailers.
• Repair brakes, suspension, wheel end, axle and air systems.
• Conduct 12V electrical diagnostics and repairs.
• Do light welding and fabrication.
• Replace parts and repair trailers.
• Install toolboxes and trailer accessories.
• Prep sold trailers before delivery.
